Marmaduke update 4

Hello everyone...

It's been such a long time since I put a blog on here, I do apologise but with everything going on it has been bedlam.

Since my last update my family have moved home. That was HUGE!!!

I now live down in North Yorkshire in a beautiful part of the country and now that I have adjusted and settled I am really starting to enjoy my new home.

When we first arrive I was overawed, but my parents were ready for this. I had familiar things all over the new house and as soon as I came in I found a bed that I recognised and boy was that a comforting smell.

I felt that I needed their presence next to me so I followed them around literally all day at first but they were amazing and accommodated both myself and my sister Macy as if it was a normal, everyday experience. We were allowed to sleep wherever we wanted and because everything was so new and scary for me, as soon as I looked in the need they were up and offering me outside for a wee (that could have been up to more than 20 times a day easily at first).

I was allowed to settle in at my own pace, I decided what I was capable of and my parents worked with that. As I found more confidence they offered me the opportunity to spend time in other rooms and slowly I explored the new house and gardens until I became comfortable with every new sight, sound and smell, Oh boy are their lots of those...

I also had some brilliant, relaxing zoopharmacognosy sessions to help me overcome my fears and gain confidence and they have been soooooooo good.

I've popped some pictures up for you to see as well.

I hope you enjoy them...
